MIT April 18: Day of Engagement, Day of Action

MIT Day of Action

On Tuesday, 4/18/2017, members of MIT, and the broader local community will pause our everyday activities and devote the day to engaging with the political, economic, and social challenges facing us today. We intend this day of action to be open to all, representing the full diversity of our community. More information about the day can be found at https://www.dayofaction.mit.edu.

There are over 40 events planned. There will be talks (including some by Noam Chomsky and Junot Díaz), panels, protest parties, action oriented sessions, spaces to sing, spaces to reflect, and much more. You can view the full schedule here: https://www.dayofaction.mit.edu/events.

MIT April 18: Day of Engagement, Day of Action is being organized as a grass-roots effort by a group of MIT community members including faculty, students, staff, and postdocs.  General inquiries can be directed to dayofaction@mit.edu and more contact information can at https://www.dayofaction.mit.edu/contact.
