Both Buddhism and Hinduism are prevalent in Nepal, with Hindus and Buddhists often worshipping at the same sites. Religion is a highly visible and integral part of daily life in Nepal, with temples and shrines big and small dotting every corner (and most homes) of the city. I spotted this offering to the gods not at a temple, though, but at a sports club.
